                   Those who haven’t booked are welcome along—pay on the day

Fri 25          Floral Workshop — for Country Fest, Endmoor Village Hall, 1pm

Patti Dawson will instruct members on how to do well at Country Fest but you are still welcome to attend if you don’t want to enter!

Sat 3          Wonderful display of members' work in the WI Marquee.


Tue 5          Federation trip to NFWI Annual Meeting in Cardiff Delegates,

to Thur 7     Observers, WI Advisers & Federation Reps at National meeting.


Wed 13      Speakers Afternoon, Kendal Rugby Club, 1pm-4pm

                    Popular new speakers’ event at new venue for us.


Thur 14      Visit to RSPB Leighton Moss, Silverdale, 10am-4pm

                   Guided walk plus lunch, tea & coffee plus time to explore.


Tues 19      NEW: Croquet Evening, Crake Valley Croquet Club, 6.30pm

                    Super evening of croquet with strawberries & cream & fizz/juice

                   Opportunity to visit a lovely stately home with beautiful gardens.   



Thur 19       Literary Lunch, The Belsfield Hotel, Windermere

Delicious food in the company of Dickensian writer Jean Briggs.


Thur 25       Group Coordinators Coffee Morning WI Office, 10am-12noon 

                    Sociable exchange of ideas about Group meetings.


1-31           WI Office closed to members

                  This is the month when we take a break from committee meetings & courses - 

                  but the staff are still available to answer phone/email enquiries Tuesdays & Fridays 9am-4pm.


Mon 3       Trip to Terracotta Army Exhibition, World Museum, Liverpool

                  Chance to view these famous ancient treasures on loan from China.


Thur 13      Westmorland County Show, Crooklands

 Display of members' work with a plethora of crafts & produce.


Fri 21        CFC Short Break to Scarborough & Scampston Hall

Sun 23      Opportunity to enjoy a short break to the Yorkshire coast with a visit  to a country house & gardens. NEWS: THIS TRIP IS NOW FULL.
